The General Manager of Thorndale Industries – John Yealland,  last week presented Troy with the following award:-

Thorndale Industries 2016 General Manager’s Award  – ‘In recognition of accomplishments far exceeding company expectations whilst working at Thorndale Industries”.

As well as the certificate Troy was given a photograph of the General Manager personally presenting the award.  Troy also received a gift voucher and says he will purchase a new travel mug and sandwich box – to take to work!

This award is very well deserved.  Troy works five days per week, getting up at 5:45am every morning and not arriving home much before 4:45pm.  He rarely misses a days work and is always ready to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.  During the past few weeks there has been plenty of work at Thorndales so Troy has started work (overtime) the minute he arrives at Werrington.

He has also given up his Hallinder League Bowling at Rooty Hill RSL to work Saturdays too.  Troy really likes his job and the people he works with.  He says the staff at Thorndale take time to show him new things and always say thank you for every effort he makes.
