Disability Royal Commission Update

To be held in Western Sydney in February 2020, the Disability Royal Commission has published an issues paper on ‘Healthcare for People with Cognitive Disability’. The Royal Commission has stated that they consider cognitive disability to include ‘intellectual disability, autism, acquired brain injury and dementia’.

The issues paper considers the barriers faced by people with cognitive disability when accessing healthcare services and the NDIS. Click here to learn more about the issues paper.
